Landy by HanoverTech

Privacy Policy

Effective August 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Landy, operated by HanoverTech (collectively, “Landy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our websites, lease-building tools, accounts, communications, and related services.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you use Landy, including:

  • Account and contact information, such as your name and email address.
  • Lease and rental information you enter, such as property, landlord, tenant, payment, policy, and disclosure details.
  • Purchase and transaction information. Stripe processes payment-card information; Landy receives transaction status, amount, date, payment method type, and limited payment identifiers, but not your full card number.
  • Support communications and information you choose to send to us.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser and device data, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, and interactions with the service.
  • Inferences we may draw from the information above to understand feature use, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

Sources of information

We collect information directly from you; automatically from the browser or device you use; from service providers such as Supabase, Stripe, Resend, and hosting or security providers; and from another person who lawfully enters information about you into Landy. We do not purchase data broker lists for use in the service.

How we use information

  • Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve Landy.
  • Create, save, and deliver the documents and features you request.
  • Authenticate accounts, process purchases, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Send transactional emails and respond to support requests.
  • Measure performance and, where enabled, evaluate advertising.
  • Comply with law and protect Landy, our users, and others.

Information about tenants and other people

Landlords and other users may enter information about tenants, occupants, applicants, contractors, or other people. The user who provides that information is responsible for having a lawful reason to do so and for giving any notice or obtaining any permission required by law. If you believe someone entered your information improperly, contact us using the address below.

Service providers and disclosures

We disclose information to vendors that help operate Landy, including providers for hosting, authentication, databases, email delivery, payments, security, analytics, and advertising measurement. These currently include Supabase, Stripe, and Resend. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.

In the preceding 12 months, we may have disclosed identifiers, account information, commercial information, internet or device activity, and user-provided content to service providers for the operational purposes described above. We do not sell personal information for money and do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will update this notice and provide any opt-out mechanism required by law.

Cookies and similar technologies

Landy and its providers use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences, service operation, measurement, and advertising. You can limit cookies through your browser and use the controls provided by applicable advertising platforms. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of Landy from working.

Retention and security

We keep account and document information while an account is active or as needed to provide requested services. We keep transaction records as needed for accounting, tax, fraud, dispute, and legal obligations; support communications until the issue is resolved and for a reasonable recordkeeping period; and technical logs for security, troubleshooting, and service integrity. Retention may be longer when required by law, litigation hold, or a valid legal request. Backups are deleted on their ordinary secure rotation schedule.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sales, sharing, or profiling. You may also have the right to appeal a decision about a request and not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

To make a request or opt out, email hello@mail.landy.hanovertech.net. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents should identify the person they represent and provide proof of authority.

If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and writing “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. You may also contact your state attorney general or privacy regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Processing in the United States

Landy is operated in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.
