Terms of Service

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of Landy, a service operated by HanoverTech. By accessing or using Landy, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Return Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you use Landy for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

Your information and documents

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and lawful information; checking names, dates, amounts, property details, and terms; obtaining required signatures and disclosures; and following federal, state, and local law. Landy may flag certain issues, but it cannot identify every rule or fact that may apply.

Information you enter may concern tenants, occupants, applicants, or other people. You represent that you have a lawful reason to provide that information and are responsible for giving any notice or obtaining any permission required by law.

Subject to these Terms, you may use a document you purchase for your own lawful rental-business purposes. You may not resell, publish, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, or use Landy or its document content to build a competing product.

You retain ownership of information you submit. You give Landy a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and format it only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide the documents and features you request.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep your account credentials secure and promptly tell us about unauthorized access. Do not use Landy to violate law or another person’s rights; upload malicious code; interfere with the service; misrepresent your identity; or access data you are not authorized to access. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, Landy, or others.

Purchases, credits, and refunds

Prices and the contents of each offer are shown at checkout. Purchases are one-time charges unless we clearly state otherwise. Lease-pack credits are associated with your Landy account and may not be transferred or resold. Taxes may apply.

Personalized digital documents are delivered electronically and generally become final once generated or made available. Eligibility, request deadlines, lease-pack rules, and remedies are described in our Refund & Return Policy. Any right that cannot legally be limited remains unaffected.

Subscriptions and automatic renewal

If you purchase a subscription, the price, billing interval, and included features are shown before you pay. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and your payment method will be charged unless you cancel before renewal. You authorize Landy and its payment processor to collect those recurring charges.

You can cancel in Landy's billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain access until then. Subscription charges are generally not prorated or refunded, subject to our Refund Policy and applicable law. If a subscription price changes, we will provide any advance notice required by law before the new price applies.

Third-party services and electronic communications

Landy relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, databases, email, payments, and other operations. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy notices. Payment details are processed by Stripe; Landy does not receive your full card number.

You agree that notices, receipts, account messages, and other service communications may be provided electronically at the email address associated with your account or purchase. Keep that address current and retain copies of records you need.

Service changes and availability

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that Landy will always be available, error-free, or current for every jurisdiction. Save copies of completed documents and other records you need.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Landy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, legal sufficiency, or any particular outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HanoverTech and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from Landy. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Landy for the service giving rise to the claim during the prior 12 months or $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Material changes apply prospectively. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale. These Terms and the policies linked above are the agreement between you and Landy concerning the service.
